From September 6 to December 21, 2024, Galerie Negropontes presents Portraits, an exhibition created as a surreal, dreamlike exploration of the art of portrait interpretation. From evocation to abstraction, from interpretation to imagination, from wink to symbolism, the works presented embrace this theme, so dear to the history of art, using its various codes to reveal this graphic genre in all its forms. Each artist, with the portrait they present, inscribes themselves in the history of art through their homage, their references and the codes they use.
