Extraordinary garden
Mirroring the Architectural Landscapes exhibition in Venice, Galerie Negropontes opens virtual doors to an extraordinary garden – a world suspended between dream and matter, where art converses with reinvented nature. Visitors are invited on a wondrous reverie, through the artistry of Gianluca Pacchioni, Ulrika Liljedahl, Garo Minassian, Maurizio Galante, Tal Lancman, and Maison Pinton tapestries. Here, individual expressions converge, weaving a vibrant symphony of the natural world.
In this Eden, the dazzling birds of Maurizio Galante and Tal Lancman answer the call of Gianluca Pacchioni’s tropical blooms, sculpted in bronze and onyx. Within this whimsical garden, an owl crosses paths with a bird of paradise. Tal Lancman’s photographs of colourful tulips, vivid as dancing silhouettes, whirl gracefully through the dreamlike landscape.
Amid lush vegetation evoked by a Pinton’s tapestry, discover Ulrika Liljedahl’s swirling horsehair installations – mythical beings that seem to merge vine and phoenix in a single, enchanted form.
Through Garo Minassian’s sensitive gaze, photography functions as a poetic loupe, pulling us into the reflections of a sparkling basin or the ambiguous patterns of tree bark.
Thus emerges this extraordinary garden – a symbolic landscape where imagination takes root, and the artworks unveil their mysteries to those willing to pause, reflect, and observe.
And, adding a precious gleam to this journey, jeweler Walid Akkad’s Bestiary collection punctuates the experience with its 21 small rose gold animals, exquisitely highlighted with brown diamonds.
