PAD PARIS
2022
Galerie Negropontes is pleased to be back at the PAD Paris for the 2022 edition and offers a selection of the creations of the artists it represents. Eight creators, including five new signatures, share this year the stand of the Negropontes Gallery. All of them place quality and originality at a very high level.
Galerie Negropontes is exhibiting at the PAD a set of Cremino side tables and a sculpture by the artist Gianluca Pacchioni. Erwan Boulloud is also presented for the first time at the PAD Paris on the stand of the Galerie Negropontes. Jean-Christophe Malaval is a creator of jewelry, or more precisely, of sculptures that are worn on the hand. The installation, Présence Aigue-Marine, by Ulrika Liljedahl is made of assembled dyed horsehair that seems to spin and undulate according to an internal movement. Perrin & Perrin present their glass and steel installation 5°11, Bolero, Alto and Nocturnal, bronzes with a matte patina and other works in glass, their favorite material. Eric de Dormael’s work is known for his luminous sculptures in brass, such as the light Ossature, a real waterfall of light. There are also several pieces by Hervé Langlais: the Capri console, dressed in white marble and lacquer, whose curves meet those of the Saint-Germain mirror, which is adorned with delicate parchment. One of Etienne Moyat’s latest creations is the Abstraction panel. The sculptor has drawn fine geometric undulations and then patinated his piece with pearly white, like a shell. Galerie Negropontes works closely with Pinton and presents an artist’s tapestry as well as a rug signed by Ulrika Liljedahl. And as always, two black and white photos by Dan Er Grigorescu punctuate the scenography of the stand.
