For this new edition of Design Miami, Sophie Negropontes will exhibit museum-quality collectibles, creating a dialogue oscillating between tradition and modernity. They are also a reflection of the diverse personalities that define Galerie Negropontes, providing a platform for creativity to flourish and reach a global audience. Design Miami is a must-attend event on the international design calendar, taking place at Convention Center Drive, Miami Beach.
Design Miami brings together the major players in contemporary design, where renowned galleries will present their exhibitions of 20th and 21st century design objects. Under the direction of curator director Glenn Adamson, the theme Blue Sky will explore bold imagination in contemporary design. The fair’s program of collectible design galleries, curios, special projects and collaborations will highlight design as a risk-taking venture, with the potential to meet the challenges of the present.
