Maurizio Galante & Tal Lancman

In 2003 designer and couturier Maurizio Galante teamed up with designer Tal Lancman, to form their creative studio in Paris. Their crossover vision transverses the different disciplines, from Haute Couture to furniture, interiors, lights, food, architecture and gardening. As the duo moves freely between disciplines, they revisit domains equipped with new understandings, insights and observations. The process results in a multi-faceted concept, with a subtle balance between the pragmatic and the irrational.
Maurizio Galante and Tal Lancman have presented their work and installations at Carnavalet Museum, Paris, France / Dongdaemun, Design Palace, Seoul, South Korea / Centre Pompidou, Paris, France / The Fondation Cartier pour l’art contemporain, Paris, France / Galleria del Costume at Palazzo Pitti, Florence / Institut du monde arabe, Paris, France / Kyoto Costume Institute, National Museum of Modern Art, Kyoto, Japan / MOMA Museum of Modern Art Grand-Duc Jean, Luxembourg / Mobilier National, Paris, France / Museum of Decorative Arts, Paris, France / Musée d’Art et d’Industrie, Saint-Etienne, France / Wurttembergisher Kunstverein Museum, Stuttgart, Germany / Triennale Design Museum, Milan, Italy / Eretz Israel Museum, Tel Aviv, Israel / Palazzo Biscari, Sicily, Italy / Palermo botanical garden, Sicily, Italy / Pitti Immagine, Palazzo Pitti, Florence, Italy / Victoria and Albert Museum, London, England.
