Perrin & Perrin

A creative duo working four-handed, Martine and Jacki Perrin have been exploring the unsuspected riches of glass for over forty years. A material of light, in which colors and plays of transparency and opacity blend, contrast or reveal themselves, glass becomes mineral sculptures with them. This first monograph reveals the many facets of their work, which explores all the possibilities offered by the material. Perrin & Perrin work like alchemists, fusing glass and modeling clay, as well as drawing and calligraphy. Punctuated by Chinese ink drawings, the inspirational spaces at the heart of their artistic approach, this book plunges us into the artists’ creative process.
