Gianluca Pacchioni

Minimal Baroque

2021

The story “for art objects” of Gianluca Pacchioni, artist, sculptor and designer, from discovering his love for iron and his vocation as an artist in Paris in the 1990s to his workshop in an old factory in Milan, where he produces works of art in metal and stone, limited editions of design objects destined for homes, galleries and collections around the world. His inspiration comes from the clean lines of Italian classicism and Japanese minimalism, with an experimental and innovative approach that explores new materials, from iron and steel to bronze, marble and semi-precious stones. Coming to art after studying economics at Bocconi, he is one of the exponents of Art Design and exhibited at the major exhibition Homo Faber, in Venice at the Giorgio Cini Foundation, during the 2018 Biennale. This volume is the result of a 10-year collaboration with photographer Lorenzo Pennati and chronicles the journey of his art with interiors objects, artworks and site-specific installations. The book is in English.
